Lisa C. Slater, CPA

Lisa has been preparing tax returns for clients since 2006.

Originally from the Houston, Texas area, Lisa spent several years in Michigan, where she began her accounting education in 2008. Her initial goal was to obtain an associate degree. However, once she began, she quickly realized she wanted her bachelor’s degree, which naturally lead to her master’s degree and CPA.

Lisa attended Northwestern Michigan College for her Associates graduating with honors as a Phi Theta Kappa Member and followed pursuing her Bachelor’s in Accountancy at Ferris State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then attended Grand Canyon University to obtain a Master's in Accountancy, graduating with honors.

After her educational endeavors, she studied and sat for her CPA and now holds active CPA licenses in Michigan and Texas. Lisa now calls Bastrop, Texas home.

Hailie Johnstone, Staff Accountant

Hailie has been preparing tax returns since 2012.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Hailie began to pursue accounting in 2011 while attending Austin Community College trying to figure out what career she wanted to follow. One accounting class and that was all it took to make her certain this was what she wanted to do.

From there she transferred to Texas State University, and found a job working under a CPA while attending school in 2012. She graduated College in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Accounting and was promptly promoted to Staff Accountant. Later she moved to and currently resides in Smithville, Texas.

Hailie joined the LCS Tax Services team in 2021.
